Chameleon QuartetFormed in 2005, Chameleon became Ontario District Quartet Champion in 2006 and for the past four years has represented Ontario at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Convention & Competition. With a varied and entertaining repertoire, Chameleon enjoys performing for all types of audiences - from backyard birthdays to big-time barbershop shows. They’ve entertained internationally from Anaheim to Amsterdam and locally all over Ontario. The quartet has even been lucky enough to sing on a radio commercial, and quirky enough to perform for a group of incontinence advisors, though that wasn’t as funny as it sounds.
Although it sometimes feels like a full-time job, the members of Chameleon actually make their living in other ways. Kevin spends his days staring at a computer screen (he’s a nerd). Dave optimizes chemical processes (also a nerd). Joel studied environmental engineering, but now he hangs out with students and talks about leadership & global citizenship (nerd in disguise). Jordan studied voice and now runs his own vocal studio (he sometimes pretends to wish he were a nerd - mostly as an unsuccessful attempt to fit in). |
